About the Role
Are you an experienced housing professional who’s ready to do more than manage tenancies? Join Te Whānau o Waipareira and help whānau move from crisis to stability through practical housing support, advocacy, and wrap-around care.
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate Housing Navigator who understands the real-world pressures whānau face - arrears, evictions, transitional housing, emergency accommodation, system overload.
As Housing Kaiārahi, you’ll walk with whānau to resolve these challenges, stabilise their living situations, and strengthen long-term housing outcomes. You’ll build whānau-led housing plans, broker services, and work in step with other providers.
This is frontline work with a kaupapa Māori approach. No two days are the same, and your mahi will leave a legacy.
