We are a transport and storage operation, providing services to a wide range of customers. With our Head Office and operational sites in Christchurch alongside two depots in Auckland, we pride ourselves on our ability to be nimble and responsive, while providing a quality service to our partners.
We are on the hunt for a Human Resources Advisor to drive people outcomes and solutions within our multi-site operation.
This position is a generalist HR role and is broad in scope – from writing adverts, screening applications and completing reference checks to co-ordinating performance investigations and managing our annual people processes.
Your admin skills will be top notch, your ability to find your way around our online HR system will be at expert level and your drive to close out actions and ensure productive and efficient delivery will see success in this role.
As the guardian of the company culture, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our processes and systems support the development and enhancement of our company values, and most importantly look after our people.
Key accountabilities:
- Ownership of recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Owner of our HRIS – managing day to day requirements and system improvements.
- Advice and coaching to managers on all people related matters.
- Co-ordination of employment relations issues, providing guidance and managing processes.
- Leadership of all people related processes.
- Administration and co-ordination of all HR related matters.
About you:
- 3+ years in an HR Advisor level role
- Highly productive and driven, who values seeing things through to completion
- Action orientated, with strong attention to details
- Strong knowledge of employment processes and legislation
- Ability to self-manage and set own priorities.
