Waiapu Kids St Francis Whānau Aroha is a nurturing early learning centre grounded in respectful, bi-cultural child-led learning. As a Whānau Aroha centre, we are committed to fostering a nurturing environment that prioritises self-determination, early intervention, and holistic support for our tamariki and their whānau.
We are looking for an approachable, energetic and experienced Administrator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis working 15 hours per week.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys engaging with tamariki and whānau with an ability to build connections quickly
- Has a strong customer service focus and thrives in a vibrant and busy environment
- Can manage day to day admin tasks such as reporting, enrolments, bookings and accounts
- Is a whizz at Microsoft Office 365 and database systems such as Infocare or similar

To be successful you will have:
- A qualification in Business Administration or similar
- Experience working in an early childhood setting would be advantageous
- Time management skills with the ability to manage many competing priorities
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to pitch in a help where needed
- Commitment to Te Tiriti based practice, Te Reo and Tikanga Māori or a willingness to grow in this space

Waiapu Kids St Francis Whānau Aroha is part of Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW) – the social services arm of Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. ACW provides faith-based services to children, young people families/whānau and older people throughout Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti, Hawke’s Bay, and Tararua. The successful applicant will foster an environment that reflects the values and purpose of ACW.
