Climate Delegate

About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
We have an exciting opportunity to join our International team as a Climate Delegate where will work closely with the IFRC Climate and Resilience delegate as the Pacific Climate Coordination Hub (PCCH) Coordinator. You will play a critical role in driving forward the collaborative climate action agenda across the Pacific Island National Societies (PINS) and Movement Partners
Who are we looking for? – Mā wai te mahi nei?
To be successful you will have:
- Post graduate degree in Climate Change Adaptation, Environmental Sustainability, Natural Resource Management or similar.
- Strong background in climate change and resilience is preferred
- Proven experience in coordination roles and multi-stakeholder engagement in the Pacific.
- Proven ability to work effectively in culturally diverse contexts
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and supporting engagement in Pacific regional priorities
