Job Description
We’re looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join our Auckland team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and quality for a 12 month fixed term period.
This role is all about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes – coordinating audits, maintaining records, supporting accreditations, and helping our people stay trained and compliant. You’ll work closely with the National Compliance Lead, site teams, and external partners to ensure we meet all regulatory and customer standards while fostering a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits (RMP, YUM, GSFI/SQF, MPI, and customer audits).
- Maintain and update compliance documentation, including SOPs, audit reports, and quality records.
- Support and monitor HACCP/RMP programmes and customer quality assurance requirements.
- Conduct site compliance walks and process control checks to ensure standards are consistently met.
- Facilitate and track compliance training for staff, maintaining the site skills matrix.
- Act as a point of contact for customer compliance matters, supporting their specific requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in compliance and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
We’re after someone who’s detail-focused, organised, and confident working across multiple priorities. You’ll be the type of person who spots what’s missing, keeps processes on track, and communicates clearly at all levels.
Essential:
- 2+ years experience in auditing and compliance administration.
- Strong background in customer service and administration.
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., GSFI, YUM) and audit management.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and food quality standards.
- Ability to conduct audits, manage corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Health & Safety processes.
