We have an opening for an outstanding leader to join ASB's Lend and Protect (L&P) Tribe on a 12-month Fixed term basis leading an E2E data delivery squad.
Mo te tūranga | About the Role:
As part of the Home Lending Transformation (NextLend) workstream, you will play a key role in digitising and automating home lending origination at ASB, making it intuitive and seamless for customers to apply. Our workstream is customer obsessed, made up of big thinkers that start small and deliver fast, and we focus on quality outputs while striving to be simply brilliant in experience and delivery.
As a Customer Experience Owner (CXO), and member of the NextLend Leads team, you will lead a data delivery squad to deliver on our vision to create world-class, digital-first, home lending experiences, that give customers with simple scenarios a decision within 10-minutes.
You will be responsible for the data delivery strategy and execution in NextLend, supporting your squad(s) to deliver outcomes with a focus on business impact and customer outcomes, shifting away from how we do things today and focusing on the future. You will work closely with stakeholders in ASB's lending transformation programmes, Personal Bank and more broadly across the organisation.

- You have extensive experience in financial services and technology/data delivery, with an innovation mindset.
- You possess strong data product management and/or data delivery experience.
- You are someone who can adopt a strategic view, enable others to share a vision for the future, and balance delivering new experiences with optimising what already exists.
- You are articulate and provide clarity, so others are clear about the work that needs to be delivered and are empowered to do it.
- You are excellent at collaborating with other teams to deliver value.
- You have an ability to harness your own knowledge of data, digital experiences and technology to connect teams to deliver business benefit and improve decision making.
- You know the importance of regulatory compliance and proactive risk management and have a solid understanding of how to manage risk within your organisation.
- You are results driven and have experience measuring value against business metrics.
