The Portfolio Solutioning Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving Nokia’s Digital Operations and Digital Intelligence solutions, collaborating closely with sales and presales teams to enhance our offerings in the telecom market. You will engage directly with senior customer stakeholders, translating their transformation goals into actionable strategies while evangelizing our innovative solutions. In a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will work alongside cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless transitions from solution design to delivery. - Engage with senior customer stakeholders to understand transformation goals across operations, automation, analytics, and AI/ML.
- Evangelize Nokia’s value propositions around Autonomous Networks, Inventory and Fulfillment, Data Fabric, AIOps, and ML/Analytics.
- Map customer needs to Nokia’s Digital Operations and Digital Intelligence offerings with clear articulation of business value.
- Leverage TM Forum frameworks (e.g., TAM, SID, ODA) to position Nokia’s solutions in alignment with industry-standard transformation models.
Solution Leadership
- Own and develop solution strategy and architecture for Digital Operations and Digital Intelligence domains, including:
- Digital Operations Center
- Unified Inventory and Service Orchestration
- Real-Time Assurance and Customer Experience
- Data Platforms, AI/ML Ops, and Automation Frameworks
- Drive end-to-end solution development including technical solution documents, professional services estimates, and commercial modeling.
- Lead customer workshops, technical presentations, PoCs, and RFP/RFI responses with strong storytelling and architectural clarity.
Opportunity Creation & Growth
- Partner with Account Managers to identify new opportunities and drive proactive engagements in New Zealand's telecom market.
- Support early-stage qualification (G2) through to bid submission and win closure.
- Drive technical leadership in major transformation deals with a focus on automation and AI.
Technical Governance & Delivery Alignment
- Act as technical design authority for assigned opportunities, ensuring delivery feasibility and alignment with product capabilities.
- Collaborate with Nokia’s product units, global services, and delivery teams to ensure seamless pre-sales to delivery transition.
- Ensure governance compliance through solution sign-offs and accurate entries in offer management tools (e.g., NPT, CNS Offer Repository).
Thought Leadership & Market Relevance
- Stay current with industry trends in AI/ML in Telecom, Autonomous Operations, Inventory Modernization, and Network Data Platforms.
- Represent Nokia at industry forums, customer strategy sessions, and internal global communities of practice.
- Apply TM Forum principles and certifications to enhance customer confidence and architectural standardization.
You have:
- 12+ years of experience in telecom OSS, service assurance, data analytics, or automation architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in Autonomous Networks, Customer Experience, Cloud-native, container-based (Kubernetes) solution models and AI/ML Ops.
- Proven track record in pre-sales or solution leadership for large-scale transformations.
- Deep understanding of TM Forum frameworks (TAM, SID, eTOM, ODA).
It would be nice if you also had:
- TM Forum certification (e.g., TMF ODA/AI/Analytics Certified Professional).
- Certifications in cloud technologies (Azure/GCP) or architecture (TOGAF).
- Strong relationships in the New Zealand telecom landscape (e.g., One NZ, Spark).
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
