Shimmys Pvt Limited is seeking friendly and customer-focused Front of House staff members to join our café – Café Kings Coffee in Christchurch, Canterbury. This role is essential to delivering outstanding service, as it involves greeting customers, taking and serving orders, maintaining service areas, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly, present menus, and explain food and beverage options.
- Taking orders and accordingly informing kitchen staff about the same.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Clear tables and return used items to the kitchen promptly after service.
- Process payments using POS systems and provide accurate change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas in line with hygiene standards.
- Assist with setting up and decorating the venue for special events or functions.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Coordinate with Café Manager other team members to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $24 to $28 per hour.
