Pay & Benefits: $23.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience/qualification)
Work Experience: 5 years work experience and bachelor’s qualification required.
Duties:
- Contributing to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and service standards to support trucking operations.
- Allocating human resources, space, and equipment for drivers and support teams.
- Assigning work to, and monitoring the work performance of staff.
- Managing records and accounts of the office, including driver logs, freight documentation, and client invoices.
- Liaising with suppliers, drivers and other relevant groups to coordinate office business and facilitate resolution of operational problems.
- Ensuring office and depot equipment and supplies are maintained.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations for transport and depot environments.
- Ensuring work complies with relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures, including transport regulations.
- Coordinating personnel activities such as hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, training, and supervision.
