About the Role
We're looking for a Practice Administrator to be the organisational powerhouse of our clinic. In this busy, rewarding role, you'll work alongside our reception team and Practice Manager to keep the clinic running smoothly - from supporting our front desk, to handling claims, accounts, and patient enquiries. You'll play a vital role in keeping things on track behind the scenes and helping our team deliver the very best care to our community.
Working Hours: We offer flexibility, but we're looking for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, spread across Monday to Saturday.
What You'll Do
- Support reception when needed
- Oversee accounts and invoicing for patients and companies
- Handle all claiming processes for clinic (ACC, MoH, PHO, Southern Cross).
- Assist management with payroll, reporting, IT, H&S and finances.
- Support quality improvement projects.
- Provide outstanding service to patients and visitors.
About You
- Proven administration experience (healthcare background an advantage).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and practice management software (MedTech Evolution a plus)
- Great with people - friendly, professional, and a team player.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to our values and delivering excellent patient care.
- Knowledge of the primary healthcare system is an advantage
