The Role
- Maintaining deep knowledge and understanding of your customers and users (personas, cohorts, needs, satisfaction, etc).
- Being the company acknowledged expert on how the product works and how users are using it.
- Understanding the various dimensions and functions of the wider business and what objectives or concerns they have with the product (sales, operations, marketing, finance, legal, etc).
- Maintaining knowledge about the industry and domain that your product operates in, including the competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Overseeing the refinement of the product backlog, which includes creating and refining, estimating, and prioritising product backlog items with Product teams.
- Overseeing release planning with key stakeholders and FIS development team.
Technical expertise and experience - Things to highlight in your application
- Experience in customer research and data analysis.
- Excellent influencing, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal.
- Passion for great products and experiences.
- Can navigate both big picture and detailed thinking.
- Ability to prioritise ruthlessly and execute confidently.
- Consulting background a bonus.
