About the Role
The Radiology Department at North Shore Hospital is seeking a Radiology Relief Scheduler to provide effective clerical scheduling and administrative support to hospital wards, departments, and the community. We are a friendly and supportive team, and you will be part of a busy service that will offer you varied and interesting work. Although this role is primarily based at North Shore Hospital, you will be required to work from both Waitākere and North Shore Hospitals depending on the needs of the department.
Duties include covering reception desks and providing booking & administrative support to the Scheduling Team. This role will be required to work on different desks in times of staff absences, covering both Waitākere and North Shore Hospital.
Radiology is a busy service and this role will offer you work that will be varied and interesting. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
This role is covered by the PSA National Health Administration Workers collective agreement and is mapped to band 4.

About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- at least 2 years clerical or administrative experience in a customer-focussed environment
- prior experience in a Public Health setting
- experience in booking & scheduling
- an excellent telephone manner
- the ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
