Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for a Senior Administrator to join our Academic Registry Administration Team in a permanent full-time position working in our office based at our Lower Hutt campus. Working as part of the team you will assess complex enrolment applications, provide advice and support to learners and other staff across the organization, as well as completing a range of administrative support tasks.
In this role, you will liaise with other departments and ensure academic assurance processes are maintained. You will communicate effectively with learners. You will also assist the Academic Registrar with advice on queries, requests, interpretations, and other matters related to compliance with the relevant regulations, policies and procedures. The Academic Registry team manages the systems and processes for student admission, assessment, examinations, awards and qualifications and student information.

You will have the following:
- Several years in an enrolment administrator role, or in a senior administration or business coordination role
- Work experience in an education environment is desirable.
- The ability to plan and organize own work
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to relate to a wide range of people
- A Solutions focused approach
- Confidentiality appropriate to the work
- Awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi as it relates to the educational sector
- Excellent database management and Microsoft Office skills
