About the Role
We have the opportunity available to join the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Prevention Directorate as a Technical Delivery Lead. This is a fixed term, full-time role.
The Delivery Lead is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to deliver new and enhanced technology products and services to support and improve bowel screening processes and outcomes, specifically related to age range extension They will work in partnership with the digital teams for public health sector technology strategy. Reporting into the business, they will lead, plan and co-ordinate the technical delivery of the age range extension project. This role will be responsible for collaborating with the cross-functional team (including vendors) to develop a delivery plan, coordinating day-to-day delivery activities, status reporting, and assisting with change management/adoption and communication activities.

About you
You are an experienced Delivery Lead who will bring skills in delivering and supporting operationally while building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. You are able to show initiative, work flexibly while positively contributing to the whole team.
- A relevant tertiary degree with at least three years' experience working in the health system or other related field or significant and proven experience in similar roles in the health or related NGO sector
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Advanced knowledge of programme and management methods including techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
- Experience in designing / driving / delivery of work programmes and project planning to ensure delivery of work
- Displays initiative, flexibility and positively contributes to the whole team
- Able to use your well-developed written and oral communication skills to persuade and influence
