All Trades Contract Services are looking for an experienced Wood Products Process Worker to work with our client in Hawkes Bay, Waipawa.
Due to the nature of the industry, there could be the requirement for onsite work outside of Hawkes Bay.
About the role:
- Starting wage of $25.00 per hour
- Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. Normal work week of 40 hours.
- Must be available to work weekends
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: operation of a timber docking saw, multi-rip saw, automoated pallet nailing machines, a 6 head 4-sided planner, and operation of a 6 saw x cut/trimmer.
- Yard Maintenance and clean up.
- Stacking timber off a conveyor belt and stacking/de-stacking timber into fillet.
- Stock take when required.
- Bin and pallet assmebly using a jig and nail gun.
Must have at least 2 years' experience working in the timber industry.
