Te āheinga: The opportunity
We are seeking Clinical Tutors to support our Bachelor of Nursing (BN) team. This role involves teaching learners during their clinical experience and occasionally in the classroom for theoretical aspects and marking of assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Student Learning: Guide students in clinical practice, helping them plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Bridge Theory and Practice: Assist students in connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application in clinical settings.
- Assessment and Feedback: Provide verbal and written feedback on student progress, coordinating both formal and informal assessments.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and complete clinical competencies and logs within allocated timeframes.

You'll have:
- A Bachelor of Nursing degree
- A current Annual Practising Certificate from the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
