Te tūranga | The role
Due to an internal promotion, we're on the look out for a People Coordinator. You'll be the go-to person for coordination and support across the People function, working closely with our HR Business Partnering, Talent and Organisational Development teams. From onboarding and payroll liaison to supporting key people initiatives, you'll keep things running seamlessly and play a key role in making FMA a great place to work. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Coordinate core People processes - onboarding, payroll, HRIS updates, reporting and drafting employment documentation.
- Support annual people initiatives like remuneration, performance, engagement and wellbeing programmes.
- Own the induction experience for new starters.
- Assist with Health, Safety & Wellbeing events, training and committee support.
- Help drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and networks.
- Maintain accurate employee records and compliance.
Ō pūkenga | About you
You'll be a team player, bringing strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease. Specifically, we're looking for:
- Experience in HR Coordination or Administration within an office environment.
- A proactive problem solver with sharp attention to detail.
- Fantastic communication skills - written and verbal.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular).
