The Opportunity


Do you have a passion for building strong customer relationships and driving commercial success? Nestlé Professional NZ is seeking an Account Manager to join our high performing Sales team in Auckland.

This position reports directly to the Country Manager of Nestlé Professional NZ and serves as an outstanding opportunity for career advancement. The role encompasses customer planning, trade spend management, and executional support, all within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.


A day in the Life


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with allocated distributors & end user accounts.
  • Develop customer business plans that align with customer needs and Nestlé’s growth objectives.
  • Negotiate trading terms and manage contracts to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Monitor category performance, forecast accuracy, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain—to deliver seamless execution.
  • Respond proactively to customer needs, offering tailored solutions and driving incremental growth.
  • Support monthly business processes and contribute insights to internal planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé policies and trade regulations.


What Will Make You Successful


  • Minimum 3+years sales experience, with a demonstrated record of achieving set targets.
  • Experience in creating commercial relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of category dynamics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI).
  • Technically savvy with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilities
