At least two years’ relevant work experience is must at ANZSCO skill level 3
Looking for two Indian cooks: Tandoori and Curry cooks.
We offer: $26.90-$28 per hours
Overtime is paid at an ordinary pay rate $26.90-$28 per hour
Wages are paid weekly in a nominated bank account.
Working hours 11 am - 2 pm lunch and 4 pm-9 pm dinner as flexibly required.
Tandoori and Curry cook
Duties:
Able to prepare and season a range of special Indian dishes
Cook Indian food curries and tandoori dishes, marination of chicken or other ethnic meat or vegetarian or vegan dishes on the tandoor
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes and dishes served with a good presentation
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
Train other kitchen staff, junior cooks and apprentices
Freeze and preserve food
Minimize food wastage
Comply health and safety and hygiene and sanitation regulations and policies
