We are seeking a driven National Account Manager to join our Auckland-based Route Foodservice team. In this position, you'll own key customer accounts, lead commercial strategies, and bring initiatives to life that deliver measurable growth.
You'll be at the forefront of building trusted partnerships, shaping commercial plans, and representing Goodman Fielder at industry events - all while making a real impact with some of New Zealand's most loved food brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key National Accounts, designing and executing strategies that deliver measurable sales, margin, and market share growth.
- Partner with customers to create tailored initiatives and promotional activities that achieve shared success.
- Act as the bridge between customers and Goodman Fielder, working seamlessly with our field teams, outbound sales, support services, and contractors to deliver results.
- Strengthen relationships with national and multi-site customers, ensuring we remain a trusted and valued partner.
- Use insights and performance data to track progress, inform decisions, and influence commercial outcomes.
About You
- You're a commercially savvy account manager who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering results.
- A strong sales background with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Proven experience in FMCG account management, with exposure to the Foodservice, Petrol & Convenience, or Quick Service Restaurant channels.
- Confidence in analysing financial and sales data, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and planning skills - plus the resilience to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a passion for creating win-win outcomes for both customers and business.
