About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As Practice Lead, you’ll guide a team delivering ACC’s strategic priorities. Your people leadership expertise will build capability, set direction, and maintain high-quality standards across the practice.
You will lead a team to support the delivering change, guide your team through complex challenges, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Your work will influence how ACC evolves its frameworks, tools, and methodologies in delivering change - ensuring we stay aligned with best practice and responsive to the needs of our people and communities.
This is a 12month fixed term opportunity based in Wellington.
About you | Mōu
You will be passionate about leading enterprise-wide change and implementing best practices across portfolios, with the following experience:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team with an emphasis on coaching, support, and professional development.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Leading the development and maintenance of professional standards and best practice services.
- Experience in project/programme delivery and managing competing priorities.
- Overseeing planning and prioritisation, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right workstreams.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 and $138,573. ACC offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% contribution required by you, optional life and income protection insurance, and the flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time, ensuring your financial security now and in retirement.
